About me
Jeremy Brecher is a writer, historian, and activist who is the author of more than a dozen books on labor and social movements, most recently The Green New Deal from Below: How Ordinary People Are Building a Just and Climate-Safe Economy. Over the course of half a century Brecher has participated in — and lent his writing skills to — movements for civil rights, nuclear disarmament, peace in Vietnam, international labor rights, global economic justice, accountability for war crimes, climate protection, and many others. He is co-founder and senior strategic advisor for the Labor Network for Sustainability.
